Verizon FiOS?

Does anyone have this? They are running a deal for Tv, internet and phone for only 84 bucks. Internet is 15/5mbps. Sounds like a good deal to me but getting rid of Dtv would be hard. Does anyone have any things to say good or bad about FiOS TV or internet?

We have had FiOS for 6 years after having DirecTV for a couple of years. FiOS is vastly superior to any service I have seen. The full fiber network provides consistently fast and reliable service. The Internet performance is very fast and the HD on the TV is great.

There have been previous discussions in the forum on this and I don’t recall anyone who has had FiOS who did not find it to be a very good service. I have heard complaints about the customer and technical service but my few experiences with them (from 4 or 5 years ago) were excellent.

Hopefully they cover my area. I'm in Cape Coral Florida so it's usually hit or miss around here. I'm going to be calling in the morning. I just hope the upgrade to 25/25 mbps is relatively cheap. :devil:

DTV has more HD offerings and Sunday Ticket, but FIOS offers the best video quality and the internet is the best bar none.

My neighborhood was one of the first to get it in Tampa, and it was really great. They don't have it in Nashville, so I've had DirecTV and AT&T U-Verse since moving here. Neither compare to the quality I had with FiOS.

When I was in VA I had the best of both worlds DTV and Verizon high speed. It was a fantastic combo. Once I moved I lost the view for DTV and went to just Verizon and had no complaints. I preferred DTV but Verizon was still better than the other cable options. I also had TV, Internet and Phone. You really cant go wrong. It was probably the best internet provider I have had.
