Yes, it's still a bit of a work-in-progress, at least for another couple of days. BUT, to my wife and son who've inspired me, all you forumers who've encouraged and sharpened me, those of you who've thought highly enough of me to ask for my guidance, and for Brainstorm who talked me through various exasperating delay's ... this one's for you:
http://www.fitnessbydale.com/ ----> CLICK 'BUSTING' for blog ... testimonials page to folllow as early as tonight.
NEED ADVICE: the 'Busting Myths' motif is my web designers idea. Even though it's precisely what I'm about, still, I'm a little concerned that it's derivative and over-used. What do you think ?

All it says when I click the link is "Dale's site"
Are you asking if the phrase "busting myths" is over used or if you shouldn't use it for the theme? Without being able to see the site, I like the idea of myth busting as a theme, those are probably my favorite posts of yours. If you're asking about the phrase itself, it's probably a little over used but not to the point that it's a detriment to your site.
I'm excited to see the site

something is wrong with my computer at work, but I was able to pull it up on my iphone. Looks pretty good. I'll have to check it out later when it's less obvious I'm not working.

Thanks for your feedback. I'm going to replace the 'Busting Myths' with something subtler. Something more me. The myth-busting aspect of my approach will be evident in the unfolding content. I don't have to shout it.

Made some changes to the homepage. For now, click the banner to get the blog. Still waiting to get the testimonials page and the bio hope, hopefully tonight or early tomorrow.
Now's the time to register you feedback, while my designer is still applying the final touches.

Okay, I guess for the time being you have to continue to click the banner to get from Home to Blog to About (with testimonials) and to Contact. Appreciate your patience as we get things cleaned up.

Not bad. I would use a html5 or css3 nav bar as they are easy to implement and alot are already made. If you don't feel like creating one your self that is. Plus there are alot that look awesome.
I would continue to work on the banner :(
I plan on doing the same thing once i'm certified. In my last web design class i made a flash fitness site. Where basically the entire site was flash or created with adobe after effects.
Congrats on the site. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, I'm going to make the menu bar more accessible. What do I need to do with the banner though ?

Sent you a pm. Adding a testimonials/transformation page is going to be awesome. That is definatly something i am going to add to mine.
Since i love to share my workout routines, me personally i would add a "my personal workout routine" page.

Testimonials are on the About page and will be rotated frequently. Real-time progress of other trainees will soon be a regular feature on my blog, possibly as early as the coming week. Next blog entry will be my personal approach to eating. Personal workout philosophy will follow thereafter ... but is bound to disappoint people who are looking for something more sophisticated. I typically work out 2-3 times a week and total workout time is usually under 20 minutes. On the ground here, 95% of my trainees want to lose weight. Eating comes first, then basic strength and efficiency of movement in primal patterns. My average trainee is nearly incapacitated after a couple of sets of bodyweight squats. These are the types of people who are coming to me.

I was just trying to accord you a little anonymity. :dog: Yep, that's on my designer guy and I let it slip by. I'll get him to correct it pronto.
And thanks for the gold! I mean it.

I've done a little fine-tuning and also added some blog entries, including a spot on my son:

Terrific. I bookmarked it!
p.s. Week 2 almost done for me. I'll train tomorrow morning and then rest on Sunday (well, I'll do some stuff, but not at the gym). Definitely lost a few lbs already though I won't weigh myself for awhile, I know my body.

Yeah, I don't get people who weight themselves incessantly. I'm all of 6-0 145 and even my weight varies by more than three pounds in a day.

For anyone who hasn't had the opportunity to read the spot on my son, I wanted to point out that not only did he never engage in bulking-and-cutting, he never actually 'dieted down' to get his abs. In fact, over the course of a year or so his calories never much varied from about 2,000 a day, sometimes a little over, sometimes a little under.
In the early going, he ate three or four meals a day. Over the last few months he switched to two meals a day at roughly 2pm and 8pm. He did get more protein that his dad gets, but probably not a gram per pound of bodyweight.
As he got stronger and stronger (he increased his deadlift from 115 to 405 over the course of a year), he cut back on his exercises, recently to just two compound movements three days a week.
No cardio. None.
