The "Rooms to go ad" in the ad rotator in the header of the site is causing the formatting of the site to break. I refreshed the page many times just on a hunch and every time the rooms to go ad showed the site formatting broke. Every other ad that showed, the formatting was fine. Just an FYI.

Firefox + Adblock = no ads. It'll make your entire Web experience so much better.

OBOB beat me to it. I don't see the ads you're talking about at all. In fact, I see no ads on GC whatsoever. :)

I am not complaining and I am well aware of Firefox. I was just letting the powers that be know what I saw. I have used chrome since its beta and really don't see myself using another browser.
btw Solari, the formatting broke in both IE 8 and Chrome.

Well if you're using Chrome why are you not using Adblock?

Regardless, that's the best advice I have for anyone experiencing this problem.

A few days ago I started having this problem for the first time. I get a lot of load hangups on ad sites waiting to load and now the formatting is getting screwed on occasion. If I reload the page it will eventually format correctly if I persist long enough.

We notified our ad people about this and they're working to fix it. Frustrating that it's been such a recurring issue.

I am running Google Chrome and Firefox both with ad blocker. Never had any issues before other than loading. Both are now having major issues with the site formatting. It is getting close to unusable.

I'll pressure them for a resolution to this, not sure what the delay is. Thanks for your patience.

The ESPN Fantasy Football ad and the T-Mobile free Samsung phone ad is causing the site to not finish loading and throw an operation aborted on IE. Don't have access to Firefox right now on my work laptop.

While I don't disagree (well FF 6 is terrible, but I digress) that a non-IE browser is the way to go, for various reasons some people cannot or do not choose to go that route. Just as FF users would get mad when pages didn't render properly in anything other than IE, things that "break" IE should be fixed in a manner that doesn't involve the need to download additional programs if one doesn't want to or cannot do so for one reason or another.

FF6 is alpha, I'm not surprised it's bad.
Developers have given up on IE before. Part of it is to change either:
1. Microsoft, to make them produce a better browser or
2. People, to get them to use a different browser. And yeah, that means organizations, too.

FF6 is not Alpha. 6.01 is the latest stable release.
