This round is fired from the M256, 120mm Abrams tank gun

Data on this round is:

Length: 38.6 inches
Weight: 50.5 lbs
Usage: To simulate in handling and limited performance (non-explosive
war head) the combat round M830

I just got back from Fort Knox where we got to catch some Armored training. Hope to get back to see an experienced group doing a demo.

Thanks for that but I really dont deserve it. Certainly should not be bundled with Strike. I just to get to play with the toys, and make sure everything is in order. I am basically an accountant for military assets. Its fun and I hope it helps.

Without the "bean counters" and the logisticians, the programs don't get funded and sustained! Trust me, what you do Leaf, is very important! I am at the NAVAIR Weapons Readiness Review (WRR) right now. With the Defense appropriations Bill still hanging out there it is getting painful across the services!

we had a siamese, a seal point male, when i was a kid, before they started screwing up the breed going for small size and pointy heads (remember the original disney movie, 'that darn cat' ? that was a HUGE siamese..i think that was the sixties or something) anyhow, our male was like that, he'd go totally limp and relaxed when you picked him up. now, we have a DOG that does that. i mean seriously. not the terrier, they stiffen up all over, the hound can be like a wet dishcloth, especially if you want to move him. and you can pick him up right off the floor (although he weighs 48 lbs), he'll let you, with no fight. our pets can be SO weird, can't they???????

It was my first time. Such a great experience, would love to go back and have more time. Wish I could have gotten down to Seward to do some Halibut fishing as well. As it was I spent only a half day on the water and caught the biggest fish of my life.

I spent a week. Fished for kings in the Kenai and drove down to Homer for one day to go Halibut fishing.

Been to Halibut Cove, off the coast of Kenai peninsula, several times. Great fishing and super spot to visit. Only one hotel at Halibut Cove, but a few houses for rent. Always recommend it to anyone heading to Alaska.

We stayed at the Kenai Inn in Soldotna and just drove down for halibut one day. Also hired a pilot with a puddle jumper and flew around Alaska for three hours. Landed on a remote lake and got out for a few minutes. Might have been the best three hours of my life.
