Let me re-phrase my statement, Gray. The haters out there will take benign "opinions" like your and mine and change the facts around to suit them. The haters will then start "rumors" based on "opinions" that they read on our boards. It's always the next guy that gets these things going and I just didn't want to 'feed the lions, and tigers, and moles.

Besides, I'm not ever going to second guess the coaches at this point in time. Although, I can easily see you point of view on that said recruit. If he does play here I hope he has a great career and time at UF while playing for Championships as a Gator. :wave:

Matt Jones is a big time running back, at least for right now. Who knows what might happen down the road, but unlike James Wilder who he has been compared to, Wilder is a much better LB prospect according to all the recruiting gurus, where Jones is a big (he is closer to 220 pounds than 210) downhill running back that should fit nicely in the new pro style offense. Jones is a much better RB prospect than Wilder and is currently ranked the #1 football player in the state for 2012 and his listed as a RB....not athlete or combination RB and LB.

Out of curiosity, where does our class rank right now? Is there already a ranking system out? I;ve had people tell me FSU's 2012 class is already better than our 2012 class right now.

As of now on ESPN's Top 150 all 6 of UF's commits are listed.

SOW has 7 listed I don't know if they have more than 7 commits at the present time.

scUM has 4 in the Top 150.

I have to admit, I like what WM is doing in the state of Georgia so far with those 3 commits(Davis, Mann, and Q. Williams).

I for one would like to see the rest of the class to be 6'5" or greater, 270lbs or greater. We need to get depth on the lines, I know CWM knows this. No player 6' or less here on out. With the players we have already, we just need road graders with attitude and DL's that are hungry for sacks. Two of the Pittsburgh Steelers OL came from the Gators, and the tackle is 6'8" 350 lbs, The Center is 6'5 and about 325. Thats what puts the fear in the opposing team, Big Uglies.

Looking back now on our recruiting class today, I've noticed how we're going after more size and height, especially on OL and DL. Players 6' or over usually have good frames for really packing on muscle for raw power, much like Bama has done the past 4 years.

Muschamp knows what he's doing.

Look for a few more huge, tall guys along the LOS in this class before it's done IMO.
