April 10 should be very exciting...
Bama's O will still be loaded, Ingram, Julio Jones, the QB, it will be very good....
..but Bama's D will have to be rebuilt next year, I think it loses its entire starting DL, and then Add arenas, mcClain (going early) and K jackson ( going early)...
Bama will be good next year, but so will will UF...
will probably be a high scoring game....

April 10. That just sucks. Can't go to the game unless it is after April 15 since tax season is our busiest time of the year. We really enjoyed going to the game last year and were already planning to go this year if it was after April 15. Oh well, at least this year we got to go to the first game, O & B game, and the last game, the Sugar Bowl.

Its a couple of snoozers Applachian State? Why would we waste a slot on this game? Its a no win situation, becuase if we win were suppose to but if they pull a Michigan the results could be devastating.

The real question is whether or not Alabama takes a step back on defense like we did in 07. If they do, that game is probably very winnable. I have a feeling that with John Brantley, a shoot out will be much more in our favor.

I'm not sure of the exact dates but GatorBoosters are sent mailings I think in March each year about ticket reorders. I think it's in the midSummer when general tickets become available. One place you can check from time to time about this is the official UF Athletics site:

Gatorboy 1982 who do you think we should add to the scheule to replace App State and USF? Every major school starts out like this (some even more so). I suppose you haven't heard that we need to have at least seven home games and only teams not requiring a home and home are scheduled for that reason.

Alabama game, I believe that we must win them in order to up-rank and also beat them once again in the SECCG on my birthday that day for our BCSCG chance... and to satisfy our revenge!
LSU game at our field just a week after Alabama is sure quite tough as well.
South Florida and Appalachian St. are both interesting matches to see, rather better ones over weak threesome we played last season. Only one weak team, Miami-Ohio that even gets better than last season we had to play 3 weak teams.

I am confused, can't you just decline to attend the wedding? I mean seriously, poor planning on her part shouldn't create an emergency for you. I just don't get it. I know family gathering, blah, blah, blah. There is a reason schedules are posted well in advance is to prevent these types of conflicts.
You can go to dinner and dance with your sister and her husband another time. 2010 gators only play the 2010 Tigers once.

Seems like a much safer way of handling it. I wouldn't "really" advocate explaining to your sister the lack of importance of her wedding when compared to a football game. I think the ER in Gainesville is a much better explanation for your absence.

guys, alabama will not even win the west next year. think about it, in the SEC defense wins championships, and last year they squeaked by on the tails of their defense even with a really good offense. now, they return most of the offense but lose some good linemen..and have to replace almost the entire defense. they will have a secondary worse than what we had in 07 and we will have one of our best passing attacks since the fun and gun. they beat us with matchups this year, they took advantage of the speed of our linebackers. now our linebackers faster and interior line should be stronger, these were our weaknesses against them. Brantley will have a field day on their secondary.

USF is probably going to be tougher than most people think. I believe they lose Selvie and Pierre-Paul to the NFL, but BJ Daniels already has most of a season under his belt, so he's not your typical "rookie" QB. Gators overlook this one at their peril.
I think we will be way, way up for the Bama game...revenge is sweet...Gators win that one by 10.

USF is always tough at the beginning of the season and usually fall off but we have seen what Skip Holtz can do at ECU now he has some real talent. As far as Bama goes it will be a tough win but a win for sure. I am excited about this season!!

I was at SOS first game against Gene Stalling's Bama sitting in the "A" section of ex Bama players in Tuscaloosa.Shane Matthews and the Gators beat Bama something like 17-15 after Bama had a half time lead. A blocked kick resulted ina Gator TD and we went home a winner. The point being we can beat Bama there but if we are to lose one game it needs to be this one because we'd play them again in the SECCG and it's hard to baet a team twice in the season.

I agree about USF. This will be their biggest regular season game in their history. FSU was big only because FSU still has a name but realistically everyone knew USF had a good chance of beating them. We're on an entirely different level and to say they'll be way up for our game is an understatement. I'd feel much more comfortable if we played them late in the season but coming early, while our new staff and players are still settling in and before they've taken their usual late season nose dive, makes it more worrisome to me than it otherwise would be.

They circle it, highlight it, cut it out and blow it up into posters...it doesn't matter. UT does not have the talent or experience to hang with us. Period. That program is down for at least a couple of years. And by "down", I mean Vol fans should be thrilled with 6-win seasons in '10 and '11.

USF is tring to place their mark on the Map like USC did in the PAC10. Gator Nation has a target on it's back because of who we are and people are going to be hungry to level us early . That is the same target Tebow is carrying into the NFL. I'm sure Urban is preparing for this like always. GO GATORS!!!
