Again the defense is great. Our offense is just not there this year. Last week seems to be an exception. Addazio's gameplan is boring and unimaginative, Tebow is not making good decisions again. We have no passing game that can attack the field and frankly this constant switching of running backs every play makes us inconsistent.

We just don't have that element of surprise on offense. They keep saying that "we failed to execute", but without the element of surprise and not mixing it up, you give the opposing defenses and edge to succeed in preventing you from "executing". So maybe the coaches should probably concentrate on what they want to "execute" first.

I wish people would grasp the fact that the play-calling is NOT JUST ADDAZIO... Meyer has said this multiple times. Has said that the gameplan AND the play-calling are the result of the people in the booth, Addazio and himself at times.

As for Tebow's play... it's a result of LOTS of things... including Tim himself. the loss of his two best big gain threats... new OC... and the pressure to make a play every time... and I still don't think he sees the field very well.

My point is that I try not to be insufferably negative as some in these game threads are. It's usually the same half dozen posters who start in on the first negative yardage play or dropped pass and it gets worse from there.

I readily admit I'm completely baffled at the play selections and lack of effort by the OL, but there's alo so much the coaches can do.

There is something called execution by the players too, and they're simply not executing well on O.

Decent drive, but Tim needs to stop standing in the pocket 5 or 6 seconds. he needs to just run. Defenses are relying on him to sit back be a target.

I watched the Arky-USCe game and both of those teams have receivers from hell. All 6 they showed are better than all of our guys besides Hernandez. How do we lose so many good talented receivers? These kids are 6'4" running 4.3/40s and they looked like tall Percy Harvins.
