Gator fans traveling to Lexington KY should wear ORANGE at the game! I was at Commonwealth Stadium a few years ago for a UF-UK game and saw that the Wildcat team at home wore all blue. Also UK fans in the stands all wear Blue. So I think it would help the Gator players to see the Gator fans in the stands and feed off thier support!

This has already been posted in another thread, but at least 6 more Gators have missed practice this week with flu-like symptoms. Linebacker AJ Jones is the only starter. Also not at practice were Josh Evans, Justin Williams, Mike Gillislee, Earl Okine and walk-on offensive lineman Shawn Schmieder. And if you go by the reporter's observations, Urban may be a little sick himself.

I believe we rotate Trattou and Green at DE to spell Cunningham and Dunlap. Howard is one of the DT's that rotates on a regular basis with Marsh, Sanders, Hunter and Antwine. That is one of the great things that Meyer has brought to Florida. Depth, depth and more quality depth. If Cunningham is still sick, we have a number of quality players who can step in and play great defense!!!

Kentucky has a great coaching staff. Rich Brooks is respected around the country. He was Oregon's HC for a long time. Plus was NFL HC.
Former Gator RB Larry Brinson coach's the RB's. Former Vol offensive coordinator Randy Sanders coach's QB and is offensive coordinator. Joker Phillips, the WR coach, is the HC in waiting. He'll be the Hc when Brooks call it quits.
QB Mike Hartline is much improved under Randy Sanders. He's played two good games, wins over Miami (OHIO) and Louisville. Doesn't make mistakes.
Former Wildcat QB Randall Cobb moved to WR, and he's done nothing but tear it up.
7 catch's against Miami, 7 catch's against Louisville. Has scored 3 TD's, 2 receiving, 1 as wildcat RB. He's dangerous.
RB Derrick Locke is one of the best all around players in the SEC. He's a solid RB, and and pass catcher. Last week he had a 100 yards kick off return for a TD.
Defensively, Louisville racked up 378 yards of offense against the cats. It was a fun game to watch.
It's a good road test for the Gators. They usually play us tough. We beat them at The Swamp last year 65-5. But that's when Randall Cobb was QB'ing and Hartline was a back up.
We need to get some of the young wideouts on the field and see what they can do. Our Oline can dictate up front and keep our RB's busy. I want Timmy to do what he did last week, but because he has to.

The biggest concern I have for the Gators is the flu bug.
From the various media outlets mentioning this in the last few days I would not be surprised if at least 20-25 Gators were dealing with it. If that's true I dont see a big "blowout" but a closer game similar to Tennessee.
We'll know Saturday night.

It gonna be rather interesting how we handle having some sick players and rain (?) against a solid Kentucky team thus our first road game as well. I'm little nervous about that.
I think it results into a 15 - 20 point game, not a blow-out likely... but will take it whatever as long we win.

Don't believe it will be that close. UK is to be repsected, but we've got them very out-manned and have better depth. It'll be competitive and Uk might play tough in the first quarter and a half, but I believe UF pulls away and wins comfortably.
Just protect the ball and don't give Uk cheap opportunities and UF wins by the spread or more.
