he'll be fine I'm sure... but a few prayers couldn't hurt.

Georgia is getting beat by Arizona St- they just picked Cox off for a TD. I'm really surprised, I thought the Dogs would handle them pretty easily.

Did the postgame handshake between Meyer and Brooks get a little testy?

Yes, hopefully its just precaution.
they won't fly him home tonight anyway, so why not send him to get tested? It'd be dumb not to.

Did the postgame handshake between Meyer and Brooks get a little testy?
Not at all. Brooks appeared to be asking about Tim and Meyer was showing where Tim took the hit.

Did the postgame handshake between Meyer and Brooks get a little testy?
Don't see why it should. Neither of them did anything wrong tonight.

Did the postgame handshake between Meyer and Brooks get a little testy?
WHAT???????
They were talking. They have a great relationship.
Brooks was probably concerned about Tebow and Meyer was talking to him. Brooks is class.

Did the postgame handshake between Meyer and Brooks get a little testy?
I didn't see anything like that. They talked for a minute. Lot of respect between the two.

what I saw in this game is that I still haven't seen a team that can stop us from running. at some point someone may be able to... but I haven't seen it yet.
I think some of the passing problems may be Tebow... Brantley was able to find open guys and hit them... I think we get a playmaker or two at WR and we're a passing Leviathan... we'll see as the season unfolds, but I think Tebow got used to having Harvin and Murphy on the field... and hasn't gotten comfortable with the new lineup yet.
Man... our OL is BEASTLY!!!
and once again... if a team has to pass against us... they're toast.

Agreed.
It was a clean hit.
Close, but clean.
Gray, you are all kinds of wrong on this one. When you get a chance to review the video you'll see that the player intentionally lowered his head.
Intentional helmet-to-helmet contact is never legal, nor is any other blow
directed toward an opponent’s head. Flagrant offenders shall be disqualified.
Additionally, the committee altered Rules 9-1-2-l and n slightly to encourage
officials to penalize head-down contact and leading with the crown of the helmet
when tackling.

I'm listening to the postgame w/ Mick now.
On ABC its Penn St. 10- Iowa 5 at halftime, showing Tebow hit, puking, ambulance ride. Jesse Palmer mentioning bye next week. Extremely useful for Tim to rest.

Tebow heading off to the Hospital.
Vomiting is a concussion thing, the only thing that also factors in is the flu symptoms he was experiencing. I thought just by the look of his eyes he had a concussion.

no... it wasn't!!! I saw the play from the backside too and it's CLEAR that the shoulder hit first! seriously... take OFF the O/B glasses and actually watch with an objective mind.

Travis McGriff & Scot Brantley recapping from Gainesville.
30 some players ill. OLine dominated.. Gators 52 rush, 362 yds. ..Spikes 10 tackles today...Dunlap had a great game. Team will hopefully get some time off with the illness and bye week. Very fortunate to have the bye.

Let's all hope it was nothing, and at worst, a mild concussion. I hope to hear good news about Tim's condition soon...I'm gonna be listening to Mick on 850 all night.

there is no doubt he had a concussion. as for receivers, Brantley put it up for the receiver to get it, not that the receiver was open.

Mick coming back with stats after the break, then I wonder if the locker room postgame is scratched due to illness ?

I know it's been posted in other threads already, but Tim's CT came back negative. He will stay overnight as a precaution. He'll be fine. Bye week comes at a good time, though...gives everyone a chance to rest up and heal. We're gonna crush LSU!!! GO GATORS!!!!!

Man, I hope they are super careful with Tim. There are some football careers, not to mention lives, out then ended early because of concussions.

I watched the video, and it didn't look like an intentionally dirty hit to me.
It was close, but not a dirty hit.
