ShareWiggs sets record for Florida volleyball
After a tough loss against the Florida State Seminoles, to say the Gators have rebounded back well is an understatement. Led by senior right-side hitter Tangerine Wiggs the No. 11 Gators swept the Mississippi State Bullldogs 25-11, 25-8, 25-11 in the Stephen C. O’Connell Center Friday evening.
“I was most pleased our players stayed the course,” Florida coach Mary Wise said. “They stayed focused no matter what the score was.”
Wiggs made Florida Gators volleyball history setting a record high hitting percentage of .929, beating the previously held best hitting percentage of .923.
