Undefeated outing for Gators’ softball

The No. 2/4 Florida Gators were successful in their first tournament of the season winning five for five. The last day of the USF-Fairfield Inn and Suites Tampa North Tournament was a very different scene from just two days ago when the softball games commenced. The air was brisk and the sky was blue on Sunday when the Gators stepped up to the plate for their first game of the day against South Florida. There was a record attendance for the USF Softball Stadium of 1,261 softball fans to watch the in-state matchup.
