Kelsey Horton hears leadership call

Kelsey Horton hasn’t caught two games in one day since high school. She will be doing that on Friday, though.

The junior catcher and the rest of the Gators take on Florida International in a weekend series with a doubleheader on Friday and a single game on Saturday. Friday’s doubleheader begins at 4 p.m.

Horton said the Gators are going through a normal routine to prepare for the weekend series before they face off against No. 20 Louisiana State at home on Tuesday.
