ShareUF opens classic with 24-point win
Coming into the game, Charleston Southern had lost in each of its previous 11 contests against schools from the Southeastern Conference. Behind another strong performance from Jennifer George inside and a pair of hot hands from the outside, the Gators women’s basketball team was able to send Charleston Southern to its 12th loss in as many tries against SEC opponents, knocking off the Buccaneers 83-59 on Tuesday night. The teams were playing their first of two games in the 21st Annual Gator Holiday Classic at the O’Dome.
