ShareFlorida men’s tennis coach resigns
A week after the team concluded its season Florida men’s tennis coach Andy Jackson has announced his resignation, effective immediately.
“I want to thank Jeremy Foley and the administration for the opportunity to lead this program for the last 11 years,” Jackson was quoted as saying in a press release on Friday. “I’m truly grateful for my time here and I hope to have the opportunity to coach again.”
Jackson spent 11 seasons leading the Gators, compiling a 209-82 overall mark and a 90-32 record in Southeastern Conference play. He piloted the team to SEC Championships in 2003 and 2005 and SEC Tournament championships in 2004 and 2005.
