ShareUF lacrosse beats William & Mary 21-8
On a 73-degree day in Williamsburg, Va., the Florida Gators looked to get support from a fan base they normally don’t receive in Gainesville. With 13 of the 25 girls on the team coming from the neighboring state of Maryland, the Gators had a strong showing of supporters for their game against William & Mary. Not being able to see family for long stints of time can be hard on players, so the Gators planned on making the most of this opportunity.
No. 6 Florida (8-2, 0-0) did just that by winning 21-8 against the Tribe (2-6, 0-0) on Saturday afternoon.
