ShareVolleyball tips off NCAA tourney today
The No. 17 Florida volleyball team begins its 2011 NCAA Championship journey today in Cedar Falls, Iowa. The Gators open the first round of the 64-team tournament field against Missouri at 6 p.m. in the McLeod Center. “It’s a gorgeous venue,” Florida coach Mary Wise said. “It’s an ideal size for the sport of volleyball. I can understand why Northern Iowa has such great attendance. There’s not a bad seat in the house … And it’s really a beautiful facility.”
