The University of Florida women's swimming and diving team claimed seven first-place finishes and is in the lead after the first day of action. The first leg in a two-day meet against both Michigan and Stanford came to a close Friday afternoon. The Gators are currently leading the Wolverines 156-102.00 and Cardinals 145-111 with one session left to swim on Saturday morning at Canham Natatorium in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
