ShareNo. 11 Florida stays unbeaten in SEC
The No. 11 University of Florida Gators volleyball team claimed its ninth sweep of the season as the Gators defeated Ole Miss in the Stephen C. O’Connell Center on Friday. The Gators kept their undefeated SEC streak alive, improving to 8-0 in conference play. The Rebels suffered their sixth loss in the conference, falling to 2-6.
The Gators out blocked the Rebels 10-3 and held Ole Miss to a .117 hitting clip.
“This match was the tale of the first two sets,” Florida coach Mary Wise said. “We just got into such a great serving rhythm and scored some relatively easy points off the serve.”
