ShareUF’s Moultrie shines on Senior Day
Michelle Moultrie and her family met Gators coach Tim Walton at home plate as the Gainesville crowd stood in ovation acknowledging her stellar career at Florida.
Senior Day started with a touching video tribute before the 5-0 Florida win vs. the Kentucky Wildcats (25-27, 11-13) and the coronation spilled into the crucial conference game Saturday.
Moultrie, the only senior on the team, jumpstarted a struggling offense with a poetic leadoff home run over the wall in right-center, which sent the fans and the Florida dugout in a frenzy.
