Florida beats ‘Bama by 24 points

On paper, it looked to be a prime example of a ‘trap game’ for Florida’s wmen’s basketball team. Following an emotional victory over LSU, and with an upcoming matchup on the road against No. 6 Kentucky, a game against a lesser Alabama opponent could easily have become a stumbling block for the Gators. Midway through the first half on Thursday, the Crimson Tide looked to be just that. However, the Gators (13-6, 3-3) were able to recover and put together a complete shellacking of Alabama in a 61-37 win.
