ShareGators volleyball wins season opener
The 2012 Florida Gators volleyball team opened the season with a bang.
There were plenty of question marks heading into the year, following the loss of multiple All-Americans to graduation, but the freshmen recruited to take their place on the court did not disappoint.
Throughout the years, Florida’s season opening games have usually resulted in the Gators dominating opponents. Even with seven new faces on the court, Florida didn’t disappoint, recording the highest hitting efficiency in a season opener in school history.
