ShareGators volleyball hosts tourney
The No. 15 Gators volleyball team (4-2, 0-0 SEC) plays host to Jacksonville, Louisiana and Georgia Tech this weekend in the second annual Active Ankle Challenge. The tournament takes place on Friday and Saturday in the Stephen C. O’Connell Center. Georgia Tech and Louisiana open up the challenge at 5:30 p.m. on Friday afternoon. The Gators are last season’s defending champions, when the tournament was called the Active Ankle SEC/ACC Challenge.
The Gators take on Jacksonville at 7:30 p.m. Friday night, Louisiana at noon on Saturday and then wrap up the tournament later that evening against Georgia Tech at 7:30 p.m. The Active Ankle Challenge is the Gators’ final preparation for conference matches as SEC play begins next weekend.
