Gators suffer first SEC series setback

Michelle Moultrie may go down as one of the best softball players to ever wear a Gators jersey.

The Kentucky Wildcats spoiled Moultrie’s final home game and series at home on Saturday by handing the Gators their first SEC series loss this season.

The No. 2 Gators (43-7, 20-4 Southeastern Conference) lost Sunday’s rubber game against the Wildcats (26-27, 12-13 SEC) 5-1 in front of 1,058 fans at Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium.
