Florida softball loses to Kentucky

Florida’s bats were silenced by the Kentucky Wildcats, who gave the Gators their fourth home loss on the season Friday night.

The No. 2 Florida Gators (42-7, 19-4 SEC) were shutout 2-0 by the Kentucky Wildcats (25-26, 11-12 SEC) in front of 1,192 fans at Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium.

The Gators have not scored a run the past two games and have dropped two SEC games in a row now, heading into Michelle Moultrie’s senior day tomorrow.
