ShareGators ready for SEC Championships
The No. 1 University of Florida gymnastics team (11-1, 5-1 SEC) is headed to Duluth, Georgia to compete in The Arena at Gwinnett Center for the highly anticipated 32rd annual Southeastern Conference Championships. The competition begins at 4 p.m. Saturday, March 24. This marks the fourth time the SEC Championships (2004, 2005, 2008, 2012) have been held in The Arena at the Gwinnett Center.
“They’re excited, they’re ready to go,” Florida coach Rhonda Faehn said. “Emotionally and physically I think they’re at a really good place right now.”
Faehn talks about how the Gators are looking forward to the meet and how highly competitive the SEC conference is.
