Gators open tourney today vs. Auburn

The four-day, 11-game Southeastern Conference Tournament begins at 1 p.m. today with Florida taking on Auburn in Nashville.

It is Florida’s 30th game of the season and arguably its most important.

With a win, Florida (18-11, 8-8) likely will have done enough to earn an NCAA Tournament bid. However, another loss could have the Gators staring in the face of the NIT.
