Gators make history with softball title

BATON ROUGE, LA --- The Florida Gators just keep on making history. Coach Tim Walton's softball team, ranked number one in the nation for the first time in school history, captured its first even Southeastern Conference Tournament championship Saturday afternoon when Mary Ratliff hit a two-out grand slam in the bottom of the sixth inning to power the Gators to a 4-1 win over Alabama.
