Florida hosts FGCU in NCAA opener

The No. 10 Florida Gators soccer team hosts a familiar foe in the first round of the NCAA tournament against Florida Gulf Coast at James G. Pressley Stadium at 3 p.m. on Friday.

Florida (17-4-1 overall, 10-2 in SEC play) eliminated FGCU (14-3-3, 7-1-1) in the first round of the NCAA tournament with a 3-0 win but this is the first time the in-state teams will hook it up this season.
