Florida falls 75-69 at Vanderbilt

A season of disappointingly close finishes reached a fever point Thursday night, as the Florida Gators women’s basketball team lost in heartbreaking fashion.

After leading for much of the closing minutes of the game, Florida once again came up short, losing at Vanderbilt 75-69.

Coming into the game, Vanderbilt was the top three-point shooting team in the Southeastern Conference. For much of the game, the Gators’ aggressive defense kept Vanderbilt from connecting from deep.
