ShareBrittany Shine to transfer from UF
UPDATE: When contacted by Gator Country through her Facebook account, Brittany Shine said she was undecided on what school she would transfer to at this time, but added that it likely will be on the West Coast. She is from Sacremento, Calif.
Six days after the Florida women’s basketball team was eliminated in the second round of the 2012 NCAA Tournament, the team announced sophomore guard Brittany Shine will transfer from the University of Florida following the spring semester.
The 5-foot-10 reserve from Sacramento, California, appeared in 31 games for the Gators last season.
Shine averaged three points in just less than nine minutes of action per game.
