GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The University of Florida softball program, under the direction of four-time Southeastern Conference Coach of the Year Tim Walton<http://www.gatorzone.com/softball/staff/walton/>, signed seven future Gators - Kelly Barnhill, Brooke Clemens, Amanda Lorenz, Lily Mann, Sophia Reynoso, Theresa Swertfager and Alexandra Voss - to National Letters of Intent Wednesday at the start of the fall signing period. Arriving on campus for the 2015-16 school year, the seven-player class will look to immediately contribute to a Gator squad that captured its first national championship in 2014. "When I look at each player that we signed this year, I have to say 'Wow!' This 2015 signing class has a lot of talent in it," Walton said. "We have some much-needed roles to fill next season, and this class will bring an immediate impact to those needs. Nothing came easy in recruiting one of the best classes in the country, but I want to commend our staff for working very hard to get this done.
