Tim Tebow has already won one and finished third. Colt McCoy has a second place finish. Their teams are undefeated and heading for a national championship showdown if they can win three more games. If both Florida and Texas win their next three games to set up a showdown in the national championship game, then one of these two guys will be the 2009 Heisman Trophy winner. Because Tebow will be going against Alabama in the SEC Championship Game, if he has a lights out game he could seal his second Heisman and perhaps his place as the best college football player in history.

The No. 1 Florida Gators, who finished off their first unbeaten Southeastern Conference season last Saturday with a 24-14 victory at South Carolina, return to the friendly confines of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium Saturday afternoon at 12:30 to meet Florida International of the Sun Belt Conference. It's the first meeting between the two schools. The game will be available via pay-per-view. The nation's longest winning streak -- 20 -- will be put on the line by Urban Meyer's Gators, who hope to be able to give some playing time to the reserves.

Senior linebacker <b>Brandon Spikes (Shelby, N.C.)</b> was named as one of the five finalists for the 25th Annual Butkus Award® honoring the nation's top football linebacker on Friday. The finalists include three candidates from the Southeastern Conference and two from the Big 12 Conference.
