Gators get test today against N.C. State

http://www.gainesville.com

With the advent of so many neutral-site games in college basketball, Florida coach Billy Donovan wanted to bring a quality opponent to Gainesville a week or so before his team began Southeastern Conference play. So, that's what gave the Gators today's nationally televised 4 p.m. game between UF (11-2) and N.C. State (9-2) at the O'Connell...

UF one recruiting class from reload

http://www.gatorcountry.com

It was a cold night in December and Meyer was in no mood to be bugged, especially about Tebow, who was entertaining Mike Shula and several members of his Alabama coaching staff at their Jacksonville home at that very moment.

The Football Insider: January 16, 2008

http://www.gatorcountry.com

Florida’s defense locked down Sooners

http://www.gatorcountry.com

FORT LAUDERDALE --- The most prolific offense in college football history got shut down Thursday night in the FedEx BCS National Championship Game at Dolphin Stadium. In four quarters against a Florida defense that bent often but broke only twice, the Oklahoma Sooners managed just 14 points and 363 total yards. The points represent about one quarter’s worth of production in an average Oklahoma game and the yards? The Sooners have had quarters when they produced more than 300 yards.
