WR Marquez North enjoys UF visit

The Florida Gators’ football team hosted a number of top recruits this weekend, but only one prospect was in for an official visit.

That was Charlotte (N.C.) Mallard Creek receiver Marquez North, who took his first visit to Florida this weekend.

“It went well,” North said. “I didn’t really know what to expect, but it was good. I would rate the visit a 10. I really liked the intensity of the team and how the defense played hard the whole game and didn’t give up a touchdown.”
