Kevin Newsome might have grown up cheering for Virginia Tech, Michigan and Texas but now that the quarterback from Western Branch High School in Chesapeake, Virginia has become one of the nation’s top football prospects, there is no room for childhood allegiances. He already has eight scholarship offers and with plenty more expected, he’s keeping an open mind about recruiting.
