Heading into last Saturday's matchup between top-ranked LSU and No. 2 Alabama (I know, it flew under-the-radar a bit on the national scene. But maybe you guys and gals heard or read a thing or two about it over the past week or so...?), I couldn't help but think back to February of 2009, and the weeks leading up to National Signing Day. Over the span of a month, Florida and Urban Meyer made quite the run at Prep All-American running back Trent Richardson of Pensacola. How much different would things have been if the 5-foot-10 bulldozer had decided to spurn his long-standing commitment to the Crimson Tide and instead ink with the defending national champions? What would the current state of the Florida offense be with that every-down back who can eat up his share of real estate between the tackles?
