Had Matt Patchan lived a thousand or so years ago we'd be hearing Nordic tales about him. This kid has the soul of a brawler, he's a real fighter and it looks like he enjoys his work. Thing about it is he's athletic enough to play on either side of the ball but it appears he's going to settle on the offensive side of the ball. Just a big old bruising kid, moves real well, has those long arms and great hands, big frame to grow into, great tackle prospect. He doesn't quit on a block, he probably isn't happy till his man is on the ground and if that happens soon enough he'll go after someone else. He would have made a fine Viking, he's going to make one heck of an offensive tackle.
