Three of the four major recruiting services that make up the annual GatorCountry.com composite recruiting rankings have released their initial 2013 recruiting rankings, and we've updated our latest composite ranking to reflect the latest additions and changes.

Today we take a look at the rankings with the addition of the first Scout 300 and an update to the 247Sports Top 247.

The Gators have also added a handful of commitments since our last update, including a weekend commitment from Rod Johnson.

Florida now boasts nine commitments ranked in the composite ranking, with only Johnson and linebacker Dillon Lawson currently unranked. That’s fourth in the nation behind Michigan (15), Texas (12) and Texas A&M (10).

The Gators lead the SEC in number of commitments ranked in the composite ranking, followed by Alabama (8), Georgia (6), LSU (5), Auburn (4), Tennessee (3), Vanderbilt (2), Arkansas (1) and South Carolina (1).

Meanwhile, of Florida’s nine commitments in the composite ranking, three are ranked in the GC Composite 100. That’s good enough for fifth nationally, with only Texas (7), Alabama (5), Michigan (5) and Georgia (4) having more commitments ranked in the GC Composite 100.

Florida’s commitments are ranked as follows, with movement from the previous ranking in parentheses.

* Note - Seventy-two new players were added to the GatorCountry.com composite recruiting rankings in the latest update, expanding the overall list to 394 ranked prospects. Eleven prospects from the previous ranking dropped out in the update.
