As the starting rightfielder on the varsity squad at Heritage High School in Colleyville, Texas, baseball is an important part in the life of top quarterback prospect Cody Thomas. So important, in fact, that Florida offensive coordinator Brent Pease didn't think he had a shot at the blue-chip signal caller until he arrived in Gainesville back in January.
