ShareFolston plans UF visit during break
Last weekend, the Cocoa High School football team found itself in unfamiliar territory: The Tigers were not playing in the FHSAA finals at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando. The three-time defending state champions, one of the premier programs in Florida, instead stayed home and watched the game on television. The Tigers had lost a week earlier in overtime at eventual state runner-up Booker T. Washington of Miami. However, while Cocoa's reign at the top of high school football has come to an end, don't expect the Tigers to be down for long. Behind the strong play of junior running back Tarean Folston, the Tigers figure to be right back in the mix for a title next year. Folston has already earned upwards of 20 scholarship opportunities, and has some major BCS players stopping to check on him these days.
