ShareSEC recruiting: Vols land quarterback
The big news in SEC recruiting this week revolves around the commitment of Tyler Bray (6-6, 190, Kingsburgh, CA) to Tennessee on Wednesday, finally ending a long search at the quarterback position for the Vols. Bray was committed to San Diego State before making the switch after taking an official visit to Knoxville for the Vols' season-opening 63-7 victory over Western Kentucky. The announcement by the left coast signal-caller ends a long search by Lane Kiffin and his staff for a quarterback in this class, a search that seemingly went on forever. The Vols whiffed on highly-ranked prospects Phillip Sims (Alabama), Barry Brunetti (West Virginia), Andrew Hendrix (Notre Dame) and Jesse Scroggins (USC) before finally settling on Bray.
