Scruggs quite happy he stuck it out
Lamar Scruggs never thought transferring was an option going into high school. Fletcher High School in Jacksonville Beach was the place he wanted to be for all four years. But near the beginning of his sophomore year, the 6-3, 210-pound wide receiver began to grow frustrated with a run-focused offense that never threw the ball his way.
