ShareRB Herndon accepts walk-on role
The process of identifying and targeting high school athletes to walk on at the college level is a little different in the year 2012 than it was just a generation ago. Seemingly gone are the days of Kerwin Bell, Louis Oliver, Chris Doering – when an All-Southeastern Conference caliber football player could fly almost completely under the radar during the recruiting process and then turn into a big man on campus while playing for a power conference program.
