Okine commits to Gators

The Florida Gators might seem a little bit slow getting their recruiting machine cranked up this spring but with limited scholarships available and plenty of blue-chippers clamoring for every offer for the class of 2007, Coach Urban Meyer knows that every commitment has to count. The Gators jump started their recruiting Thursday by landing a commitment from Gainesville High School defensive end Earl Okine, a commitment confirmed by his coach, Eddy Moore.
