Compared with the Class of 2009, it must seem like a down year in the Panhandle and Big Bend regions. A talented region that has always thrived on producing big-time prospects at small school programs, Florida, Florida State and even Miami have been able at times to dip into Northwest Florida and pluck out future contributors at a wide range of positions.
