Montgomery knows Greenwood traditions

In Greenwood, South Carolina, only one thing separates a good season from a bad season and that is a state championship. Don’t waste your time talking high school football with students, teachers or fans at Greenwood High School unless you’re talking about a state championship team. Winning championships motivates the players who believe the secret to their success is outworking opponents in the offseason. In the weight room, Sam Montgomery and his teammates finish their final set of five reps in the weight room by spelling out “S-T-A-T-E.”
