Down 28-7 midway through the third quarter of the state championship game, Skyline quarterback Jake Heaps knew he was backed into a corner. As he stared up and down a lifeless sideline, he saw frustration on the face of his teammates. Obviously, they weren’t seeing what he was seeing. Instead of a hopeless situation, he saw a quarter and a half of opportunity.
