Joey Ivie commits to the Florida Gators

Sources close to the situation have confirmed that Florida landed its 17th verbal commitment for the Class of 2013.

Defensive tackle Joey Ivie pulled the trigger on his decision during the Will Muschamp Gators Football Camp on Saturday.

The 6-foot-4, 270-pounder from Dade City (Fla.) Pasco reports more the 20 scholarship offers. He recently named Florida among his leaders that also included Florida State and Miami.
