Jelani Jenkins defines the student-athlete

At a young age Jelani Jenkins’ parents worked hard to make sure that their son understood what was important in life. They didn’t want him to just be a football player; they wanted him to be a good student as well. Now as his junior year comes to a close at Good Counsel High School in Wheaton, Maryland, it is clear that Jenkins is the true definition of a student-athlete and his parents couldn’t be prouder of him.
