The coaching staff has once again hit the road this week. Well, I guess you could say they never came off the road as a lot of the coaches were traveling last weekend to watch spring scrimmage games.

Before I get into who was visiting on Tuesday I want to talk about who coaches visited last weekend and on Monday.

Running back coach Brian White visited Clearwater (Fla.) Central Catholic cornerback/receiver Michael Stevenson on Saturday.

“He told my coach that he wanted me to visit for a camp this summer,” Stevenson said. “There is a great chance that I will be attending. I just have to check the dates of the camps and which best fits my schedule.”

White also visited Norcross, Ga., running back Alvin Kamara for his spring game onFriday night. “It was good, “ Kamara said.

White also visited Manatee (Fla.) East Lake for its scrimmage to watch 2014 defensive tackle Demarcus Christmas on Saturday.

While watching the Manatee East Lake’s scrimmage White also was able to evaluate offensive lineman Mason Cole and receiver Artavis Scott, a pair of 2014 prospects, as well as Class of 2015 linebacker/safety George Campbell.

Cornerback coach Travaris Robinson visited Miami (Fla.) Coral Reef receiver Jacob McCrary, a Class of 2014 prospect. McCray said he has been invited to camp at UF this summer.

Robinson also went to Immokalee, Fla., to visit cornerback Mackensie Alexander, safety Mackenro Alexander and 2014 receiver/cornerback J.C. Jackson

Robinson also watched 2015 Miami (Fla.), Killian cornerback Jaquan Johnson on Saturday during his spring scrimmage.

Robinson visited 2014 Marietta (Ga.), Walton cornerback D.J. Smith on Monday. “Coach Robinson wants me to come to the Florida campus,” Smith said. “I think I am this summer.”

Now, on to Tuesday.

Running back coach Brian White and receiver coach Aubrey Hill visited with newly committed Columbus (Ga.), Carver receiver Marqui Hawkins on Tuesday.

Hill also visited Fort Valley (Ga.) Peach County receiver Demarcus Robinson on Tuesday.

Offensive coordinator/quarterback coach Brent Pease visited Middletown (Conn.) Xavier quarterback Tim Boyle on Tuesday to watch him throw in person. He’s a Class of 2013 prospect.

“I throw the ball well today,” Boyle said. “I’m suppose to call them tomorrow.”

Tight end coach Derek Lewis visited McDonough (Ga.) Eagle’s Landing Christian defensive end Isaac Rochell on Tuesday. Rochell said the visit was good and that Florida is in his top four behind Notre Dame, Florida State and Clemson.
